Chapitre 143: Agatha - The Fight Within

Suddenly, there was a new burst of smoke emanating from Agatha's mouth. It went straight into the air, then it came down and went into Mark in a rush.

Then it ended as suddenly as it started.

"No... No." Elijah muttered as he knelt before Agatha and touched her neck, but it was cold.

Frantically, he ran his hand across other parts of her body and they were also cold.

"No, Agatha. You can't do this to me. You have to come back now." He kept pleading and tears flowed down his face.

His hands touched Mark also and he realized he was piping hot instead and he was getting hotter.

Frightened, he withdrew his hand quickly, falling on his butt, "why is he so hot and she is so cold?"

This was beyond what he could grasp. What should he do?

"The mages." He thought and quickly, he tried to connect with them.

He closed his eyes and chanted a mantra. A slight breeze blew around him, but nothing happened when he opened his eyes.
