ALPHA MAVERICK'S POV

Strange.

This feeling bubbling inside my heart was strange.

Why? Because I wasn't able to put my finger on it and understand what exactly was going on.

Why was this girl inflicting so many emotions inside me?

And who the hell does she think she is to act like this with an alpha? Well, she might not know I am an alpha, but can't she sense my aura either?

I am the same dangerous man that has even the council bowing to him. Then why the hell has she made me bow twice already?

It feels like her expressive eyes are too much for me to handle. If anyone would have talked to me in this kind of tone, he would've been buried 6 ft under the ground already, but for some reason, when she speaks, more with her eyes than her mouth, I don't feel bad at all.

She has instigated emotions inside me that I never thought I was capable of anymore.
