Two weeks had passed since the truth was revealed - that Huang Yanyan was not truly the daughter of Song Bo and his wife Chen Xinyi. The lavish Song manor, once Yanyan's home, now felt hostile and tense. 

Yanyan had legally changed her surname to Huang, reclaiming her biological family's legacy, though she felt sadness at leaving her former life behind. She worked out intensely twice a day, transforming herself physically and mentally during this upheaval.

The exertion helped Yanyan process her anger towards Chen Xinyi's deceit, her grief at being severed from the only life she knew, and her anxiety over her new role in the powerful Huang family. After each grueling session, she felt focused satisfaction from the sweat and exhaustion.

Later, Yanyan studied for exams with Wu Ling and Yang Lixia, dreading facing Chen Xinyi at school but finding solace in their banter.
