"Oh?"
Bossi widened her beautiful eyes, finding it somewhat unbelievable.
"How come I didn't know the Western Coast was so strange."
Luo Yu rolled his eyes. "Didn't I just say, even Ultimate Douluo can't sense the problem?"
"Tch."
Bossi curled her red lips dismissively.
Somehow defiant, she said, "I must follow you there and see for myself what's so magical about the Western Coast."
Compared to Bossi's enthusiasm, Purple Pearl was much more cautious.
"Brother Yu, is there any danger in rashly going to such a place?"
Before Luo Yu could speak, Bossi, with an air of superiority, patted Purple Pearl's fragrant shoulder.
"Relax, not to mention having me around, this stinky man's strength is already unmatched in the world. He can more than protect us."
Purple Pearl stuck out her tongue and smiled awkwardly, "Alright, I worried too much."
...
"Whoosh!"
The Sea Demon sailed in from the boundless azure sea, docking at the edge of the Western Coast.
Bossi stood on the deck.
Staring at the desolate alleyway, she frowned and wondered, "What's going on here?"
"Where did everyone go?"
Luo Yu shrugged. "Isn't that the question at hand?"
Bossi sniffed lightly with her fine nose, confusion growing in her eyes.
"There's no smell of blood in the air, and the surrounding land and buildings are undamaged."
"Clearly, there's been no fight, so why has everyone disappeared?"
Luo Yu pointed to the alleyway where several empty boats were docked and chuckled. "It's more than just the lack of signs of a fight. There's not even a trace of anyone moving away."
"It feels like everyone just vanished into thin air, evaporated from the world?" Purple Pearl couldn't help but interject.
"You're right," Luo Yu nodded.
"Let's go down and take a look."
"I want to see who's behind this."
Bossi's eyebrows knotted tightly as she leaped from the Sea Demon.
In this ocean domain, she was the true master. Now that the fishermen she ruled had mysteriously disappeared, the anger in her heart had been ignited.
"Let's go down too."
Luo Yu wrapped one arm around Purple Pearl's serpentine waist and the other around Bai Xiuxiu, who was curiously looking around them.
They plunged to the land.
Once on solid ground, Luo Yu felt slightly uncomfortable.
After all, having spent so long on the swaying deck, the sensation of standing on firm land was indeed different.
Luo Yu said, "Let's go inside and take a look."
He touched the ship's hull, opened his storage space, and stowed the ship away.
Bossi suddenly turned around, her eyes wide as she stared at the now empty harbor behind her.
"Where's the ship?"
Luo Yu was taken aback for a moment. "What ship?"
"Where did the Sea Demon go?" Bossi's beautiful eyes grew larger.
"I put it away," Luo Yu said, not quite understanding why Bossi was reacting so dramatically.
Bossi's mouth hung open, her voice trembling a bit.
"Put it away?"
"Your storage space is that big? You can fit such a huge ship in it??"
Uh...
Luo Yu looked at the extremely surprised expression on Bossi's face and was momentarily speechless.
Come on, I am after all an Ultimate Douluo, the Sea God Island Great Priest. Is it really that shocking?
It's just that my storage space is slightly larger than the average person's.
After a brief shock, Bossi quickly adjusted her mood.
She silently labeled him a freak in her heart.
Not only was he an abnormal person, but even the small objects he carried were equally outrageous.
The four of them entered a village near the Western Coast.
All of their faces bore expressions of deep suspicion.
The entire village was desolate, completely devoid of human life.
The village road was littered with random pieces of fishing equipment, left unattended.
The salted fish that were drying outside the doors had shriveled up together.
Luo Yu led the three women into one of the village houses.
The inside of the house looked like any normal household, fully furnished, only covered with a thick layer of dust on the tables and the stove.
"What on earth is going on, where are all the people in the village!!" Bossi had completely lost track of the situation.
If it was a mass migration, why were all their belongings still in the homes, and why were the fishing boats still moored at the shore?
If it was an enemy attack, why were there no signs of struggle anywhere?
"Did you find anything?" Luo Yu asked, smiling at Bossi.
Bossi shook her head.
"No, no clues at all."
"This is the first time I've come across something so bizarre in my entire life."
"And you?" Luo Yu turned to Bai Xiuxiu.
"Don't look at me, Brother Yu. If Sister Bossi doesn't know, how could I?"
Seeing Luo Yu's gaze turning towards her, Purple Pearl quickly shook her head.
"Don't look at me, I'm even more clueless."
A meaningful smile appeared at the corner of Luo Yu's mouth.
"You all can't see it."
"But I know."
"What?" Bossi's beautiful eyes widened.
"You've made a discovery?"
She was first surprised, then shook her head repeatedly.
"Impossible, we've all come here together, seen and observed the same things."
"How could it be that we found nothing, but you did?"
"In fact, I had already used my mental powers to cover the entire village for a search."
Luo Yu stepped out of the house with a faint smile on his lips.
"Will you come out on your own, or shall I invite you out?"
His voice was not loud, but it seemed to carry a distinct penetrating force.
It echoed continuously within the empty village.
Bossi followed him out with the two women, catching up to Luo Yu.
They huddled together and whispered.
Purple Pearl, on alert, looked around and murmured, "There's nobody here."
"Impossible, what level of cultivation would it take to evade my mental search?" Bossi couldn't believe it.
Bai Xiuxiu placed a finger to her lips, speculating, "Brother Yu isn't just fishing, is he? He isn't really sure if there's anyone around."
"Spot on," Bossi couldn't help but give Bai Xiuxiu a thumbs-up.
"Still not coming out?"
Luo Yu huffed coldly, the smile fading from his face, turning serious.
"Tsk tsk, this smelly man is really putting on an act," Bossi thought there was a high probability that there were no people around.
"Boom!"
Luo Yu raised his hand, and a golden shadow flew out from his brow.
With the shimmer of gold in his hand, the formidable and sharp Sea God's Trident, gleaming with golden colors, appeared.
"He's even brought out the Divine Artifact, could there really be someone around?"
Bossi was startled and expanded her mental search again, but there was still nothing.
"Still no one, this smelly man is just making empty gestures."
In the shadows, hidden within a secretive folding space,
a half-meter-tall dark figure stalled there, observing the situation outside, unable to suppress a smug chuckle.
"Ga ga ga, foolish humans, don't think I can't see through your deceit."
"I'm right here hiding, I don't believe you can discover me..."
While it was chuckling in self-satisfaction, outside, Luo Yu's eyes burst forth with the Purple-Gold Divine Light.
He instantly threw the Sea God's Trident in his hand.
Breaking through space, the Trident appeared right in front of the dark figure the next second.
The figure was dumbfounded.
"Damn, has this guy really found me?"
It twisted swiftly, trying to dodge, but it was too late.
The Sea God's Trident pierced through its body, pinning it directly to the ground.
