Initially confused, Veronica furrowed her brows, seemingly trying to ponder where Avalon City was located.

"Did another city ascend to the first-grade?" Veronica questioned, finding it baffling that such a news somehow went over her scope. 

Any city that earned its ascension to another grade was major news, especially when it was a newly ascended first-grade city. One could think of it as a company going into the public listing, but multiply that by 100 times. 

That was how big the scale was going to be, so to remain in the dark despite such an event meant that one wasn't even living under the rock, but they weren't even living anymore. 

Meanwhile, Carmen was rendered speechless by Veronica's narrowed scope and mindset. 

Maybe because she had never visited any city lower than second-grade that prompted her to believe she was going to a first-grade city. After all, she did reject her suggestion of checking out the new sweets and coffee shop.
