Chapitre 64: The Hecarion system

The Hecarion system was a composite system, a binary system with two stars and a total of 17 planets and planetoids. For a century, the ships of the intelligent race that inhabited that part of space, the self-named Siflings, had begun their career of space exploration.

The encounter with humans was not peaceful, but after suffering humiliating defeats, they finally accepted a non-aggression treaty and did not develop any space activity that would harm human interests.

It was not strange or unusual; humans did not really want to dominate, colonize, conquer, or exterminate other intelligent races in the universe, but they would not tolerate interference in their advancement through the cosmos. The alliance of the three planets was formed in order to establish a safety zone where humanity would not face threats from other belligerent alien races.
