And so, Abattouy, the truant scholar, settled down in Wang Daoyi's small teahouse.
During the day, he helped Sisi with various tasks and occasionally discussed various knowledge topics with Wang Daoyi.
Abattouy discovered that although the shop owner who took him in didn't have a systematic knowledge of learning, he surprisingly had a broad understanding. No matter what topic Abattouy brought up, the shop owner could always engage in the conversation.
Although many of the shop owner's answers seemed incorrect to Abattouy, his broad knowledge and various creative ideas astonished him. If this person were in Spantamad, he would probably be another genius scholar like Lisa or Tighnari.
One day, after finishing a discussion (or argument) with Wang Daoyi about whether mechanical life should first develop intelligence or have control programs set first, Abattouy half-suggested and half-mocked, "Your knowledge domain is too broad. You should engage in systematic learning instead of dabbling in everything without mastering anything."
Upon hearing Abattouy's words, Wang Daoyi didn't immediately counterattack. After several days of interaction, he could see the scholar's character.
Although the scholar was always overly confident (or arrogant) in the topic of mechanical life, his arguments generally had substantial support, with various academic papers cited in his discussions.
So, since he dared to mock Wang Daoyi for his lack of systematic learning, he must have noticed some of Wang Dao's shortcomings.
"My knowledge mostly comes from the books I've collected, and hardly anyone has provided me with systematic teaching," Wang Daoyi smiled and said to Abattouy, "So, I'm curious, how does the Academy teach you systematically?"
Hearing Wang Daoyi's question, Abattouy's face showed a proud expression. The Academy of Spantamad, the largest academic institution in Teyvat, was known as the academic aristocracy. As the force controlling all of Teyvat, it had a well-developed system of knowledge classification and teaching.
Without immediately answering Wang Daoyi's question, Abattouy took a moment to think and organize his thoughts before speaking, "Since the wise men first followed the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata to establish the Spantamad, after thousands of years, the Academy has become a super institution integrating learning, teaching, research, and practice. Under the rule of the Academy, Teyvat is called the Country of Wisdom, corresponding to the authority of the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata - Wisdom."
Abattouy's voice was gentle but carried an inexplicable pride. Although his research was prohibited by the Academy of Spantamad, he had deep feelings for this super academy.
Wang Daoyi didn't interrupt Abattouy's introduction. Although he knew all this basic information, he still made an appearance of being willing to listen.
Abattouy was very satisfied with Wang Daoyi's serious listening and continued, "Under the recognition of the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, the wise men of the Academy gradually divided the Academy into six schools, namely the School of Life, School of Light, School of Element, School of Knowledge, School of Cause, and School of Mystique."
Pausing for a moment, Abattouy took a sip of water and began to introduce each school separately.
"The School of Life is based on the Amurtra Academy, formed by scholars who initially cultivated the rainforest with the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata. It is still the largest school in the Academia to this day. The research fields of the faction include biology, ecology, medicine, and many other areas. Their school emblem is a green badge."
"The School of Light is based on the Lotus-Rtawahist Academy. They believe that the sky reflects truth and writes destiny, with the stars as their research center. The research fields of the faction include astronomy, astrology, and other disciplines. These folks are either observing the sky or making calculations. Their school emblem is blue, and their leader is the current High Sage Azar!"
"The School of Element is based on the Spantamad Academy, with elements as its theoretical core. They focus on the study of elemental reactions and changes. Because they need to go out to inspect various veins, there are many itinerant scholars in the faction. The research fields of the faction include alchemy, elemental studies, and veinology. Most of the time, scholars of the School of Element are either conducting elemental reaction experiments or surveying the flow of veins in the wild. Both Sister Lisa and I belong to this faction, and our emblem is red."
"The School of Knowledge is based on the Haravatat Academy, viewing language and writing as the core and essence of the world. The research fields of the faction include linguistics, runology, and other disciplines. They have researched topics such as penetrating runes and sealing runes that we discussed before. Their emblem is black."
"The School of Cause is based on the Vahumana Academy, seeking to explore the source, composition, and essence of knowledge. Originating from the refutation and reflection on the remnants of the King Deshret's theory, various social sciences emerged later. Their research includes history, sociology, and other disciplines. These folks are either memorizing or dispelling rumors. However, there are rumors that they have mastered some unknown historical truths. Their emblem is yellow."
"The School of Mystique is based on the Kshahrewar Academy, originating from the study and manufacture of driving mechanisms. Since the manufacture of mechanisms involves various knowledge fields, it is a quite comprehensive school. It includes disciplines such as architecture and machinery. In short, they are either building houses or solving mysteries. Their emblem is white. My research in the field of mechanical life initially came from their faction."
King Deshret was very familiar with the division of the Academy of Spantamd, or it could be said that every student of the Academy of Spantamad was very familiar with this basic knowledge.
Wang Daoyi, on the other hand, became increasingly interested. These systematic divisions gave him great inspiration. Classifying knowledge according to the Academy's system might enable him to study more effectively.
Then, Abattouy explained the academic grading of various fields. The Academy of Spantamad generally divided academic grades into six levels.
They are:
1. Diligent Traveler (Pilgrimage Scholar): Students with some achievements who have begun to travel and gain insights, preparing for their graduation thesis.
2. Scholar (Vidhyadhara): Scholars who have published effective papers. To transition from apprentice to full member, they need to pass evaluations for two different topics.
3. Sage (Bodhisattva): A title of respect for scholars of the mentor level. Those who can be called Sages are wise men who have extensive knowledge and can guide others, such as the academic genius Javiḍa from the School of Mystique, who was called a Sage before the age of thirty. Scholars of this level are the backbone of the Academy of Spantamad.
4. Wise Man (Arya): The highest title for researchers at the Academy of Spantamad. Since the establishment of the Academy, the six Sages have not only been the academic elites of the six schools but also the leaders of each academy.
5. Grand Sage (Mahāsattva): From the six Sages of the six schools, one will be elected as the "Grand Sage" to serve as the apex of the Academy. The current Grand Sage of the Academy is Azar from the School of Light.
Listening to Abattouy's introduction of the Academy of Spantamad, Wang Daoyi's virtual screen continued to change, absorbing the knowledge of the Academy's academic classification. The classification displayed by the Golden Finger also changed accordingly.
Finally, as Abattouy finished his words, the Golden Finger in Wang Daoyi's eyes also renewed itself.

The original skill and status bars disappeared, and various skills were reclassified into three levels of knowledge.
The data displayed by the Golden Finger comes from Wang Daoyi's own cognition, so the interface changes did not affect his strength. It only made Wang Daoyi more intuitively see his learning progress.
Under different knowledge options, there is a more detailed division than before.
Opening the Talent:
[Explorer]: Learning ability greatly improved, understanding ability greatly improved.
This talent is one of Wang Daoyi's greatest helpers, allowing him, who was originally just clever, to possess top-notch learning abilities.

With the new Golden Finger interface, a new level division.
Level 0 means having some understanding of this knowledge but not yet grasping it.
Level 1 means having mastered introductory-level knowledge.
Level 2 means being able to proficiently apply this knowledge.
Level 3 means having reached mastery in the corresponding field.
Level 4 means having achieved something in the corresponding field, equivalent to the level of Bodhisattva in the Academy's division.
Level 5 means reaching the pinnacle in the corresponding field, belonging to the level of Sage.
Level 6 means reaching the limit of ordinary people in the corresponding field. If you want to make progress, you need to involve the realm of gods.
And the information of level 7 or higher is not mentioned by the Golden Finger, presumably because there is no data support or because such levels do not exist.
Observing his own information, Wang Daoyi found that the highest levels were surprisingly in culinary arts and elementalism, and they were only at level 4.
Considering that he learned daily from the best chefs and the strongest Archons, this learning condition was probably many times better than that of ordinary people. Yet, he only received a level 4 evaluation.
It can be imagined that the higher the level in the field of knowledge, the more difficult it is to cross.
