After breakfast, Tan Jincheng still had to go to the company and dropped Gu Yi'an back at her apartment on the way to pack her things.

"Sir, Madam, we're here," the driver said naturally.

The word "Madam" left Gu Yi'an a bit flustered.

"Are you meeting your friend for lunch?" Tan Jincheng turned to look at her.

Gu Yi'an nodded, "Not necessarily, her job is quite unique, she might not be free."

"Just pack the essentials, I'll come to pick you up this afternoon."

"No, I'll just take a cab myself," Gu Yi'an declined.

"Five o'clock in the afternoon, I'll come to pick you up," Tan Jincheng set the time without further discussion.

Gu Yi'an stayed silent, unsure whether to continue refusing or to accept.

Suddenly, Tan Jincheng smiled, "Want me to walk you up?"

Gu Yi'an was stunned, then immediately remembered she was still sitting in the car.
