Chapitre 16: CHAPTER 15: Moments In The Car.
As the car drove, Annika suddenly leaned into Alex's arms , tears streaming down her face . Initially unsure of what to do , Alex eventually wrapped his arms around her , offering comfort . Annika, realizing she was in Alex's embrace , quickly pulled away and turned to stare out the window.
After a moment , Alex passed her bottle of water without saying a word . Annika declined , prompting a puzzled expression from Alex . He insisted she wipe her tears to avoid smudging her makeup, handing her a handkerchief adorned with a happy face emoji sticker . Annika's smile returned at the sight, through Alex remained oblivious to the humor.
The car came to a sudden stop, startling Alex He turned to see Annika still wiping her tears. Concerned , he remarked on her dramatic display, to which Annika responded by quickly drying her eyes . Alex teased her, calling her dramatic , as they prepared to exit the car.
