As Annika's sister invited her to a party, Annika readily agreed . After getting ready , they headed downstairs where their father was reading the newspaper and their mother was preparing fruits for the Royce family. Annika's father cautioned them to be careful before they left . At the party , Annika slipped, but Alex Royce caught her . Furious at his wink , Annika wanted to teach him a lesson . Later, she found him sitting in her chair at the bar and poured wine on his face . Alex retailed by throwing her into the pool causing laughter among the guests . As Annika emerged from the pool a guy approached her inappropriately , prompting her to slap him . Alex ,offering a drying towel , showed a hint of pity , but Annika tossed it into the pool and left .
