Chapitre 35: Rescue Mission

Before starting our rescue mission, I was embarrassed, but I told Lady Mystral that my riding skills were subpar. However, she was caring enough to request a more easily manageable warhorse from the stable master. We were going to leave with 30 soldiers. I didn't have an accurate grasp of the garrison of the city, but I could avoid the question, "Is it alright to leave the city with so many people?"

"Our forces are composed of two hundred men; fifty of them are full-time guards; the others were conscripts that were working temporarily and took turns between farm jobs and protecting the law."

I thought that organization to be awfully not only ineffective but counterproductive, inducing the opposite of the overspecialization issue. This is another mental note that I should address in the future. Being too generalist is nice from an individual perspective, but highly detrimental to economic growth.
