Aiden called Katie on his way home from work that evening, asking her to meet him at their usual restaurant. "Can you meet me at our spot?" he asked.
"Sure, I'll be there," Katie replied. She drove over, and by the time she arrived, Aiden was already seated. She joined him at the table and greeted him, "Hello, Aiden."
He merely nodded in response. When the waitress arrived, Aiden said, "Katie can order whatever she wants. I'm fine."
Katie ordered a soft drink, and as the waitress walked away, Aiden leaned in. "I must commend you for your cleverness. You've managed to win my sister-in-law over, leaving me no choice but to marry you."
Katie's eyes widened. "What do you mean?"
Aiden continued, "However, understand this: you will have my name and bear my child, but you will never have my heart, love, or body. I won't let you interfere in my life."
Katie hesitated, "But I thought—"
