Everyone stayed in the ward for around fifteen minutes before getting up to leave.

After catching up with her colleagues, Caroline sent everyone off. However, she noticed that Karen and Wendy deliberately stayed behind but she didn't bother asking them why.

After the others had left the corridor, she looked at Karen and Wendy as she said, "Why don't you two take your items back?"

"Miss Simons, those are our gifts to you. You've accepted the gifts from others but you're now rejecting ours. Do you really not like us?" Karen asked with a smirk.

Caroline also smiled. "You know very well about the relationship we share, so let's stop with the act. Even if you leave your gifts behind, I'll never touch them."

Karen then retorted, "We already expected you to do so, therefore, we bought the cheapest items instead. If you don't want them, you can just throw them away."

Shameless! They were too shameless! Caroline didn't even want to waste another second dealing with them!
