Caroline went silent for a moment after hearing what she said.

'As if the Long family didn't try to suck up to the Zellweger family,' she thought bitterly. In order to get to Eddison, Tyler had sent Caroline right into Eddison's bed.

Tyler just lost control of what happened after.

Caroline pushed the thought away and continued to chat with Claudia and the others. She was in a good mood and didn't want to be bothered by Tyler's family.

Connor then went back up on stage. "Since everyone is here, let's turn things up a notch. The stage will be open to anyone who wishes to showcase their talents."

This really livened up the atmosphere. From time to time, some of the guests would go up to sing or dance.

However, because it was still an event made up of upper-class guests, most of the songs and dances were very tame.

Most of the time, the people that went to perform just wanted everyone else to notice them.
