The dance room hasn't changed from the first day she walked into it. The wooden boards that made the floor were still the same dark brown and by the way they glimmered, they had been polished recently.
The instruments stood in the corner with their instrumentalist right next to them. How her mother had been able to rally everyone so late in the night was almost impressive.
"It is a basic waltz but I want to add as many moves as possible," Mrs. David was saying. Bel could hear the excitement in her voice and she knew she was in for some hard dance routines.
"I am sure whatever you will come up with will be magnificent and I cannot wait to meet your expectations," Davien commented.
Mrs. David blushed and Bel stared at Davien as though he had just grown a horn out of his head but even that would be less surprising than what he just did.
"Basic steps would do just fine. I doubt he would be able to keep up with anything more."
