Honestly, I was kinda excited to be able to to interact with my mind in such a physical way as Ive seen many cultivation novels where the main character built up his mind palace and clapped anyone who dared to try to invade it but I also was excited as there were many things I could do with this Example being what I was doing now.
"Another piece of steak and a can of Arizona," I thought, and just like that, another plate of food materialized before me. After weeks of deprivation, I wasn't about to forsake the simple pleasures of eating. With gusto, I indulged in a feast, savoring each bite until my hunger was finally satiated. But even the most exquisite flavors can become mundane after a while. By the time I polished off my tenth plate of ribs, I felt a sense of contentment mingled with a touch of boredom.
Determined to make productive use of my time, I shifted my focus to organizing the scattered books. With meticulous care, I sorted through the volumes, placing them on shelves according to their content. To streamline the process, I even took to labeling each bookshelf with engraved names, ensuring a semblance of order amidst the chaos of my mind. However, the enormity of the task soon became apparent as I faced hundreds of bookshelves awaiting my attention. Despite my efforts, progress was slow, and the sheer magnitude of the endeavor weighed heavily on my shoulders.
As I delved deeper into the task of organizing the vast expanse of my mind, I couldn't help but notice the additional shelves buried beneath the snow, along with countless books waiting to be unearthed. Realizing that I would have to excavate them to fully sort through the contents, I resolved to tackle the challenge methodically, one shelf at a time.
Despite the slow progress, I began to reap the benefits of my efforts as my memory and recall sharpened with each passing moment. Encouraged by this improvement, I entertained the notion of creating a librarian to assist me in the daunting task ahead. However, my attempt met with failure, as a sharp headache reminded me of the folly of such endeavors. I heeded the warning and reverted to my original approach, diligently arranging the wealth of information before me.
Hours melted away as I toiled, methodically removing snow from shelves and categorizing the books. Though my progress seemed minimal, I felt like I could return to this place and continue my work.
Regrettably, my labor within the depths of my mind was abruptly halted as I felt a forceful tug on my being, pulling me back to consciousness. As I surfaced from the depths of my inner world, the gentle rays of the sun greeted me, casting a warm glow across the horizon. Sitting up, I observed that several individuals were already awake, tending to the fire and going about their morning routines.
Despite the interruption, a sense of tranquility washed over me as I rejoined the waking world. Though my journey within the recesses of my mind was put on hold, I carried with me the knowledge that I could possibly return to continue my exploration.
