Ludwig just sat down on the side and waited for them to take a break. He wasn't in that much of a hurry anyways. Instead, he sat down on the hill somewhat away from them, knowingly somewhere where the formation wasn't spread yet, and communicated to his natal plant.

He took out a rat corpse from his spatial ring and hid in below the ground in a fast manner, all guardians kept their awareness outward, so no one saw him. 'Can you consume the vitality of this animal?'

The vine spread from below towards the corpse and circled it, then Ludwig saw how the traces of spiritual power broke, signalling that the physical body wasn't able to have spiritual power flowing through it.
