"I see," Commander murmured, finally understanding. Noticing Ye Lingfeng's calm demeanor, he asked curiously, "Did you already know?"
"Yeah, I had a hunch when we first arrived," Ye Lingfeng replied, his experience from countless missions giving him an edge.
Zhouzhou, her admiration evident, looked at him with wide eyes. "Dad, you're amazing!"
She had only discovered it after walking around earlier, yet her father had figured it out the moment they arrived. Ye Lingfeng, clearly pleased with his daughter's adoration, smiled as he ruffled her hair.
Lowering his gaze to Zhouzhou, he asked, "Tell me, how exactly did your Compass fail?"
"Mm-hmm," Zhouzhou nodded, her little legs swinging idly as she sat in the chair. What she said next, however, took both men by surprise.
"They used this entire region as the formation's boundary, which is why my Compass stopped working."
