Chapitre 197: A Wild Man After Ren's Baby

Ren ended up staying in the lab for the rest of the day, engrossed in his work. The cub had returned from its little trip a few hours ago, but it seemed unusually quiet, floating in the air like an aimless boat lost at sea.

As the day came to a close, Ren said goodbye to his new team members. He headed toward his spacecraft, feeling a sense of giddiness jumping in his chest. He walked toward his spacecraft with almost airy steps.

Going back to his work sure gave him a sense of accomplishment.

As he sat inside the spacecraft, he remembered that his communicator had been on silent mode since he entered the lab.

With a casual flick, he turned off the silent mode, and almost immediately, a series of notifications chimed in rapid succession. Most of them were from Terim and Griffin.

Terim was asking if he was free to chat, while Griffin's messages asked how his day had been.

Griffin was obviously worried about him.
