Chapitre 43: Queen Overnight

Valda's eyes fluttered open, and she was gazing at the soft beige canvas of a tent. She sat up and looked around her surroundings, and she was inside what seemed to be a completely strange-looking tent.

She felt a bit disoriented after that fall, and a dull pain resonated in her head.

"Where… where am I?" she whispered, looking dazed and alarmed.

Animal hides and skeletal remains hung to the walls like spectral tapestries, and they did not seem to her like mere decorations. The absence of crackling fire left the air stagnant and icy, and Valda hugged herself, seeking solace in her body warmth, but the biting chill persisted.

What on earth is this place? Who brought her here?

Suddenly, she could hear little sprout's shouting at someone outside, followed by the masculine laughters of not just a man, but MEN!! It was a chorus that sent chills down her spine, and she immediately jerked her head to the tent's entrance.
