The following morning was another difficult day for Freya. After dinner the previous night, Rowan was the first to leave the dining room. When Freya returned to her room, she could still feel how Rowan's finger had poked her inner thighs, and how he acted carefree about it. She lay on her bed, knowing that the day had finally come for her to choose between good and bad.
The moment she accepted what her body wanted and gave in to Rowan's art of seduction, something she couldn't deny was clearly tempting it would be a forever goodbye to the good world she had always known. She would be shedding her innocence, and this wasn't the kind of life even her father had wanted for her.
The words Madame Rosalie had said to her the night of the feast came ringing in the back of Freya's mind;
"I always knew it! Girls that are innocent usually want the wild part of life."
