Chapitre 41: Alright

Waking up with a dry throat, I realized the room was still dark, and the night had not yet ended.

When I got out of bed, I felt a chill. Shivering slightly, I stepped into the hallway.

I could faintly hear the sound of something slicing through the air. It was a sound I had heard many times before, but it couldn't be, I thought, looking down at the courtyard.

My drowsiness instantly disappeared.

In the dark courtyard, there was Cyril, alone, swinging his sword.

No way, it's not even dawn yet. I get that he's eager after losing to Lorenzo yesterday, but this is too much.

I hurriedly moved to stop him but then halted halfway.

Cyril was striving to be the prince everyone expected him to be. Who was I, someone who had treated him like a prince, to tell him he was overdoing it?
