Tengen's Barrier (Chapter 68: I'm Out)
As Kenjaku considered his current circumstances, he couldn't help but think about one thing.
'I'm in here with Naohiro. I have all the time in the world to experiment with him.'
Kenjaku pondered for a moment. 'How would his children affect the world?'
He has conducted experiments similar to this in the past.
First creating the cursed wombs and then creating Yuji.
He even put Sukuna's brother's soul inside Jin Itadori before procreating with him to see what creation he could make.
It was a question that he needed answered.
If someone was outside of the world's rules, what would happen if they had a child with someone who was inside of the rules?
He couldn't help but smile when he thought about it. If he used Naohiro, he could create an entirely new species of human—one that could break the balance of the world and throw it into chaos.
The merger? Who cares?
Culling Games? Doesn't matter.
A thousand years of planning? Irrelevant.
It was only speculation, but he needed to find out if it was possible.
Standing up, he walked over to Naohiro.

Ever since coming to this world, Naohiro was gifted a fourth wish.
God made sure to help him out and give him an ever-adapting spear of heaven.
Currently, it was 27 inches, but it would only become longer as time progressed.
Mahoraga adapts once it is introduced to phenomena.
The Kenjussy is a phenomenon in itself.
It was able to handle Jin Itadori.
The strongest backshotter in history.
While he didn't have potential in Jujutsu, he had potential and strength in terms of his backshots on the level of Sukuna.
Naohiro hasn't had to adapt to something so insane.
So, what happens when the grip is too strong?

Naohiro had been thinking of ways to escape by trying to figure out the pattern behind Tengen's barriers.
Unfortunately, the pattern is extremely complex, so he can't use his adaptations effectively enough to escape.
His thoughts break as he looks up to see Kaori Kenjaku, the one who took backshots to advance his plan.
Or so people say.
Kenjaku grabs the top of his shirt and slowly pulls it down, revealing Kaori's skin.
He...or rather she, spoke. "We're both stuck in here for who knows how long."
She smiles as her shirt gets pulled down more. "What do you say?"
Naohiro narrowed his eyes.
He knew that Kenjaku had some sort of plan in mind.
However, he knew that the Kenjussy had an unmatched grip.
Jin Itadori proved that.
The Kenjaku in front of him was only a fragment of Kenjaku's full soul.
Then it hit him...
He could attack his soul directly. If he is lucky, he can harm Kenjaku's real body from the inside of his puppet, so he won't have to worry about him in the future.
Naohiro smirked.
It was a long shot, but if he managed to do this, he could get the Kenjussy grip and take care of Kenjaku at the same time.
Making up his mind, Naohiro stood in front of the Kenjussy.
*whoosh*
The Kenjussy widened her eyes as she saw the 27-inch inverted spear of heaven.
She smiled as she fell on her back, clothes coming off in the process.
Naohiro fell down with her as he readied himself for the grip.
He narrowed his eyes.
*touch*
'clink'
It was too grippy for his inverted spear, so his adaptation kicked in.
Kenjaku's smile widened. "So, that's how your adaptation works."

'clink'

*pap*
Using the utmost of cursed energy reinforcement and adaptation, he managed to enter the Kenjussy.
'Nah, I'd give backshots'
Naohiro's eyes widened. 'What did it take you to be able to say those words, Jin Itadori?'
Jin stood alone as the strongest backshotter in history.
Naohiro couldn't imagine the loneliness that came with such a title.
*grab*
Kenjaku grabbed his face. "What are you spacing out for?"
Naohiro shook his head and smiled.
*pap*

"HUH!?"
Tengen could be seen outside the barrier, mouth wide open, staring at the scene in front of her.
As Kenjaku and Naohiro moved back and forward, Kenjaku turned toward Tengen.
With sweat running down her face, she smirked. "You can sit and watch, my old friend."
Tengen couldn't speak as she saw her old friend taking some of the nastiest backshots she had ever seen.
She simply sat in the corner as she could do nothing but watch.
Suddenly, Kenjaku heard something strange...
'clink'
She spoke as she noted something happening inside. "What was that sound?"
The inverted spear adapted to 30 inches.
Naohiro suddenly stopped as his eyes widened. "You can hear that?"
Rather than continuing the conversation, Kenjaku smiled as she crossed her legs behind Naohiro. 'I'm starting to figure you out more and more, Naohiro Zenin.'
Since they were connected, their souls were intertwined, and everything could be heard.
*crack*
It was then that Kenjaku realized what Naohiro was doing.
Naohiro was attacking her soul.
She smiled. "How cute."
*PAP*
*crack*
Even though she figured it out, it didn't deter Naohiro from attempting to destroy Kenjaku's soul.
Spinning her around, Naohiro attempted a new form of attack.
*pap*
Kenjaku's eyes almost bulged. 'He's approaching Jin's level!'
She was confident in her grippyness and only someone on the level of Jin could make her feel anything.
Her plan to create a vessel for Sukuna was one that she held no emotions for until Jin showed her the core of backshots.
'clink'
He was adapting, slowly but surely, to surpassing HIM.
*pap*

Naohiro wasn't holding back anything. Anything less would cause him to lose to the Kenjussy's grip.
Kenjaku noticed her breathing becoming increasingly labored. 'N-no, way. He's going to...me of all people?'
*btz*
Just like in their first encounter, Naohiro was getting inspiration, similar to the one that allowed him to unlock his domain expansion.
No one has been able to pull it off aside from one other.
Only sorcerers who can manipulate cursed energy at the highest level and the greatest backshotters can comprehend it.
After adapting to black flash, Naohiro has become adept at using the phenomenon.
It was only at this time where he gained the inspiration...

Naohiro quickened his pace as Kenjaku started to feel electric currents.
Kenjaku smiled briefly and turned to face him. "You win today, Naohiro Zenin."
*BTZ BAM*
Naohiro screamed. "[WHITE SPLASH]!"
'clink'
The room glowed white for a few seconds.

*BOOM*

Shards of Tengen's barrier were seen as she had to reinforce it with her maximum cursed energy output to keep it together.
Tengen looked back at the two and saw a naked Naohiro standing above an unconscious Kenjaku.
Naohiro had done it.
He had surpassed the king of backshots.
While Jin had used the White Splash, now that Naohiro had adapted, he could now use it on command.
Unfortunately, he wasn't able to destroy Kenjaku's soul, but he awakened as inspiration flooded his mind.
However, for Kenjaku, this moment was when she realized that she didn't need anything else. Naohiro had been what she had been searching for.
