Chapitre 32: Hands off

"What the hell are you doing?!" Athan shouted angrily. He was horrified to see Knox tied up like a criminal. Veins popped on his neck and he had the urge to smash the man's face to the wall.

After more than ten minutes passed and Knox didn't come back, he went to check on him, but then he saw him bolt out the door, and then followed by the man supposedly enjoying his engagement party.

He pushed Azrael, who stood as tall as him, out of the way and dared to rush to Knox's side. However, the latter didn't even budge and only glared at Athan coldly.

"Don't interfere," Azrael said through gritted teeth, he pushed Athan back without any consideration of his position at all.

Since Athan was near the stairs, with a single step he took backward caused by Azrael's forceful push, his balance was lost and his vision turned up. He was falling!
