Chapitre 221: Trial of Observation

Even in my exhausted state, I could tell the arrow seethed with spiritual information. Pretty clearly, this was the River's test for my mind. I didn't tackle it right away, starting to cultivate to recover instead. The River didn't seem to object. 

Once I had recovered about halfway, I noticed my body seemed stronger for having come through the well above boiling waters. Did the River actually temper my body? Huh. It is said that the Celestial River rewards those who surmount its trials… 

When I felt ready, I examined the arrow more closely. It didn't do any good. I just couldn't even begin to decode whatever secrets or puzzles it held.
