The sounds of battle came in from a distance. 

"Hey, you hear that!?" A girl with a mohawk and a crossbow on her back called out. 

"Should we go help?" A guy asked in turn. 

"You two, go see what's up," a third sentry replied. "We'll stay back here. Call us if you need us." 

"Got it!"

With that, out of the initial 6 guards standing here, 4 were left for Zenith and Syneris to fight.

Looking at their levels, Zenith thought Syneris could probably take them all out on her own.

[... Not exactly a fair fight.] 

Zenith wasn't complaining, of course. If anything, she hoped everyone they'd meet on the way to Asuka's position was this weak.
