Chapitre 181: • Forgiveness

Spheris opened his eyes weakly and saw that he was lying on the body of his shadow beast, Vexarion. The Gehennarac had used his wing to protect him from the deluge of rocks, winds and debris.

With a groan, he pulled himself to his feet as Vexarion open his wing, releasing him. Spheris stood on the earth and looked around. The explosion had sent them flying far away to a different part of the Changing Mountains.

Vexarion had caught him mid air and protected him through the crash. Spheris turned to the shadow beast and petted it gently on its scales. "You have done well, Vex," he praised.

'You should return for the Capacity Core,' Obsidian said to him.

"I know," he replied. Then he looked at the Gehennarac, eyeing the large wound beneath its three necks and the other just by its left wing. "Vexarion is wounded. He can not take flight."

Obsidian humphed. 'You are plagued with bad luck, Spheris.'
