"Is that your question, Dames?" Avira looked at him with a knowing gaze. "My fellow Representatives died and I lived. Caelum, Tiana, Shurin, Jacob. The uncles and aunts you never got to meet. I'm the only one left."

"And you've stayed here all these years?" Cerene asked.

"I am bound by the same Restriction Spell that binds all of you. I've lived amongst the raining leaves, the land of ice, the rising waters, the dry plains, every soil this dread land has to offer. I have seen countless Bridges break open, a passage out of this Realm, an escape."

Avira's eyes narrowed, the earlier emotions disappearing. "Yet here I am, unable to cross the threshold because of this Spell. A prisoner of The Abyss."
