Hearing Chen Hao admit himself that he wasn't Hua Shan, Tao Hua's expression lit up with joy, and she excitedly looked at King Xin and said, "Sister, did you hear that? Chen Hao admitted with his own lips that he's not Hua Shan!"
However, to Tao Hua's surprise, King Xin shook her head after hearing this and said in a hoarse voice, "No, no, he is Hua Shan!"
"Sister!" Tao Hua was shocked and at a loss for words. She had thought that once Chen Hao admitted he wasn't Hua Shan, King Xin would come to her senses, but contrary to expectations, King Xin did not do so and instead seemed even more broken.
"I am Chen Hao, not Hua Shan!" Chen Hao declared, his eyes filled with certainty.
The decisive blow he had planned for King Xin was to confuse the King, on the brink of collapse, into mistaking him for Hua Shan; then, once King Xin believed he was Hua Shan, to reveal to her the truth that he was not.
