"I-I... Can I ask you something?" she began nervously, her heart pounding. "You kno—KYAAAA!"
Before she could finish, Victor suddenly lunged forward, pinning her to the ground.
His cheeks were flushed, his chest rising and falling rapidly as sweat dripped from his half-naked body.
It was as if the room had become unbearably hot!!
"W-What's happening?!" Ashara gasped, panic overtaking her.
'Well...' the voice in her head chimed in hesitantly. 'You... um, grabbed the wrong bottle earlier. That was the love potion I was preparing.'
Ashara froze, her face draining of all colour. "What the fuck were you doing making that?! And why the hell was it next to the cold drinks, you idiot?!" she shrieked inwardly, her voice laced with fury.
The voice snapped back indignantly, 'Don't blame me! I tried to warn you, but you didn't listen, dumbass!'
