"How many times have I told you to stay out of my sight?!" Queen Isabella yelled as she flung a glass bottle at Ísar's feet.

He didn't even flinch, the nine year old staring at his mother with tired eyes.

"You called for me, mother," he said with no emotion in his small voice.

Queen Isabella grimaced before hiccuping, her tanned cheeks stained red as her brown hair cascaded down her exposed shoulders.

"Why in the fuck would I call for a ghost?" she slurred as she picked up another bottle of red wine from her table.

A maid hurriedly rushed to open the bottle, trying to avoid the stress of increasing his mother's drunken anger.

"Oh wait," she said as she handed the bottle to the maid without sparing the woman a glance.
