Chapitre 350: Alix must listen.

He turned and glared pointedly at Yating with red angry eyes. It was him that married a foolish woman that didn't know what to say or when to say it.

They had been trying to keep the news of the second elders death quiet but it was obvious now that Yi Yong had started spreading it. If her family knew, then others would soon know as well. 

Unlike the first branch where Caishen and others had moved to protect Alix, nobody tried to protect Yi Yong. They understood the gravity of what she had done and they didn't want to be seen as her accomplices or supporters. A bodyguard forcefully took her outside despite her protests and cries. 

All of this drama was unexpected, especially to Alix. Wasn't death supposed to bring a family together? 

"Are you okay?" Caishen asked her

She nodded and placed her hand on his shoulder. 

In her mind, Alix heard the system say, "You are so out of it that you are not listening."

"Eh!" she responded in confusion.
