The whole village was in a state of alert as just till yesterday people who had smiles all over their face showed looks of worry and concern, all because of the war initiated by Kumogakure and took to the level of great third ninja world war by Iwagakure.
In the hokage building, the top echelons of konoha were gathered at this moment to come up with plans to deal with the approaching kumo and iwa forces.

"We have to reserve some main firepower just in case another village steps into the war. We just can't send of everyone just like this, it will be too risky!"

Homura didn't seem to completely agree with what probably the smartest person in the village said as with eyes hiding anger for the man who sat on the man seat he put forward his own concerns.

"Elder Homura, it appears to me that you lack confidence in Konoha's power. However, I must assert that Konoha is currently in its strongest era, barely behind the time of Lord First."

Our prominent clans are led by capable chiefs, and we have promising emerging shinobi like Minato and Nawaki. Furthermore, we possess the power of the Nine Tails and the guidance of Lord Hokage himself."
"Even if another village were to jump in I believe we still won't have much problem negating them"

Next day two armies both consisting of at least 3000 shinobi each departed from the entrance gate of konoha and went two different ways, the man with silver hair donning the hokage robe standing at the entrance quietly watching both the armies disappear gradually, some thoughts running in his brown eyes.
