Madara's Hideout.
The passing time seem to affect the old man sitting on the stone chair, looking frail. But the walls of the vast underground hall and the monster with nine closed eyes behind still the same.
Madara with his eyes closed and tubes attached to his back from the gedo statue seemed in a deep sleep but his eyelids trembled when from the walls of the hall black liquid seeped in and turned into a black humanoid figure.
With an interesting look in his yellow eyes, Black Zetsu quickly walked towards Madara who had woken up already and had his eyes fixed on him.
"Hehe~ things above are getting pretty interesting lately; I thought you definitely would want to hear about it" Shared Black Zetsu the reason why he suddenly interfered with the sleep of Madara, who lately wanted to spend as less energy as possible.
"Oh~ did you find the perfect pawn I was looking for?" Madara's eyes brightened at his words as he couldn't help but inquire in a hopeful tone, his time was running out and he wanted to find someone to carry out his plan in his stead as soon as possible.
"Yes I did, but he is not old enough to inherit your will and you may need to wait couple of years for him to be of any use" Black Zetsu had the ability to infiltrate the village silently and after years of searching he had finally located someone who fit the criteria of Madara's pawn, the only problem the pawn being too young.
"Couple of years huh… well I can still hold on that much but don't let him off your sight any moment; his safety is of utmost importance" Madara couldn't help reveal a slight disappointed look at the fact that the perfect pawn was of no use currently but this little disappointment didn't hold a canny against his resolve, the resolve to cut the karmic cycle of the world and be the savior that brought peace.
"White Zetsu are keeping an eye on him every moment so his safety is guaranteed though I didn't come all this way to inform you just about him; Kazuki Aoyama has returned to the village after three years and is running for hokage"
"The chances of him becoming the fourth hokage are pretty high as well"
Told Black Zetsu about the latest news from the leaf village, Madara just after hearing the name showing a serious look and sitting up straight, after Zetsu finished talking, his lips parting.
"What do you think? Did he reach that level where he could affect our plan?" Asked Madara in a serious tone as he remembered that years ago Zetsu right in this hall had revealed his doubt of Kazuki having the same potential as Hashirama along with the intellect of Tobirama.
Black Zetsu was his will and had the same eye as him for people so he couldn't have judged kazuki wrong and this made Madara take him seriously.
While Madara was someone who loved fighting strong people but it was a fact that he was old now and his plan mattered to him more than his obsession of fighting strong people.
If Kazuki reached the strength once possessed by Hashirama then he would be a serious hindrance to his plan and even nagato who possesses his eyes won't grow strong enough to deal with him.
So if he was just showing signs of achieving that strength; he wanted to take a big risk and deal with him before it's too late.
At his question Black Zetsu who seems to like talking a lot went into a long silence and made Madara wait quite a bit for an answer.
"No one has seen him in action for three years and the last time he fought everyone saw him taking down the rampaging seven tails effortlessly, there are rumors that even the nine tails went berserk that day and it was dealt with by him as well but of this I'm not sure"
"During the three years he was missing even I couldn't locate him as because of his mastery of flying raijin he had left nothing that I could use to track him; so I'm not sure how strong he has become but despite all this I still doubt he could have achieved the same strength once you and first hokage possessed"
"That kind of strength can't just be attained through training and some potential ;you understand it more than anyone else"
Shared Black Zetsu his guess on Kazuki's current strength after going through all the information about the latter he had in his head; he, who wanted the plan to succeed probably even more than Madara himself naturally wouldn't joke with a matter related to a possible serious hindrance to the plan.
"You're right… maybe I'm being too paranoid thinking someone can rival my and hashirama's might… especially now that we are sure he is neither a senju or uchiha"
Madara couldn't help but agree with him and the background of kazuki which was neither uchiha or senju only assured him more that he was probably overthinking a little.

Land of Rain.
Rain poured down from the sky like usual but today it seemed to have a hint of sadness to it, at what seemed like a deserted area in the land of rain, in the middle of nowhere was built a small hut.

Outside the hut stood three figures exposed to the rain but not caring about it one bit they had their eyes fixed on person gradually walking away, his white hair reaching his back and his right hand raised, representing a goodbye.
"Thank You for everything, Sensei!"
Said the red haired kid who looked around ten with purple eyes having a ripple pattern, the orange hair kid next to him showing a heavy look and the girl with purple hair breaking down into tears and leaning onto the shoulders of the orange haired kid.
