The morning light filtered through the gauzy curtains, casting a soft glow over the room where I stood amidst a sea of garments. Each piece of clothing told a story, a memory stitched into fabric, but none seemed right for the occasion. Wrapped in a towel, I pondered, my mind a whirlwind of silks and satins.

" What should I wear." I asked myselg again.

Fifteen minutes ticked by, each second a silent drumbeat of indecision. It was then that the door creaked open, and Lise stepped in, unnoticed. "What are you doing?" she inquired, her voice laced with curiosity.

Startled, I spun around, my balance faltering, a gasp escaping my lips as I teetered on the brink of a tumble. Lise's laughter filled the room, a melody of amusement that eased the tension.

"I… I can't decide what to wear for a date with someone," I confessed, her cheeks tinged with the pink of embarrassment. I've never been on a date with anyone before and then is it a date or a friend's day out ?
