But Mr. Petrov wasn't exactly himself at that moment. He was going crazy, unable to sit still, think straight and utter any coherent sentence. 

If not because of the hospital that had called, he wouldn't have even known that anything happened to Dimitri. He was surprised when he lost track of him during his return as he always had tabs on him to make sure he was alright at all times. But knowing his son, he didn't think it could have been anything this serious. 

What would he do if anything happened to his son? His precious and the only son he had? It would kill him. He wouldn't be able to endure it. As harsh as he may seem on the boy, he loved him dearly. Everything he had done up until now was all for him and his safety. He wouldn't come this far just to lose him…

…Right? 

"Sir, he is in the operating room. Please, be a bit patient," one of the nurses pleaded, smiling apologetically at him.
