Chapitre 293: Kill Me

Mikhail hurried to him and handed a whip to him. He stepped back to his position and kept his eye on Vera. It was clear Dimitri didn't fully trust Vera either. 

Dimitri made a thorough examination on the whip and smirked at Adeline. 

Adeline couldn't even protest or struggle. What would be the point? Only luck would be able to save her here? If not, she was done for and that was for sure. 

Her hand balled into a fist and she coldly glared at him, hostility burning in her gaze. 

"Oh, don't look at me like that." Dimitri laughed. "This is your punishment. You know what you did." He walked behind her and with a grin, he raised the whip, furiously hitting her on the back. 

Adeline gritted her teeth, her hands trembling in the level of pain that caused through her body. She shut her eyes, unsure when her polished nails unknowingly dug into her palm. 

Vera had averted her gaze, unable to watch.
