Chapitre 292: The Whip

Through the opened door of the warehouse, Mikhail and his comrade walked in, dragging in a slumped body. 

Adeline lifted her head and at the sight of the person they dragged in, her heart dropped to her stomach and immediate tears welled up in her eyes.

"Dad…" 

Sokolov was a complete mess, with bruises all over him. He was beyond recognizable, making it clear that Dimitri and his father had dealt and tortured the man beyond what he could endure. 

He couldn't even move his own body anymore and had to drag him across the floor and leave him right there, knelt on the cold ground. 

"Dad…Dad!!" Adeline struggled, trying to break out of the chain, but the restraint was too tight, all it did was bruise her wrist more and more. 

"Do you like what you see?" Dimitri asked, pointing at Sokolov.
