Chapitre 237: So, She’s Here To Stay?

"What is wrong with you?!" Roman let go of her, pushing her in the process. "Get out of here and leave me alone!"

Oh, she was enjoying this a bit too much. 

A mischievous glint flickered in her eyes, and she tilted her head to watch him with predatory eyes, almost as if she were setting a trap for him.  

"But, Roman, why did you immediately assume a different type of like?" she asked. 

Roman's frown deepened. "Meaning what?"  

"Who said I meant you liked him romantically? Why did you assume that?" Vera chuckled and rested the back of her hand beneath her chin. 

The man pinched between his brows, exhausted. "What else was I supposed to assume?" 

"I don't know." Vera shrugged. "I never said you liked him romantically. I rather meant you like him enough to buy him coffee even though you pretend to hate his guts." 

"Stay away from me, you damned witch!" Roman stood up frustratingly to leave the coffee shop.
