Those large hands, Adeline needed them back on her body. His hot lips on hers, that thing about him that left her drunk in want and the need to melt right into him. She loved it, even though she couldn't explain what it was.

Caesar chuckled, extending his hand to tuck her hair behind her ear. "I like teasing you, I suppose."

"What? But-"

"Relax for me. There will be a next time." He kissed her mating gland and inhaled her scent with closed eyes.

Adeline shivered at the hot touch of his lips and scrunched her face. She breathed softly and rested her head against his shoulder, shutting her eyes.

"Caesar…" Her mumble was low and barely audible, suddenly weakened.

Caesar caressed her hair and smiled softly. "No one would ever be able to give you what I can. Not even pleasure. You can only desire my touch and everything that I have to give you, Adeline."

But she was too drunk on his pheromones to even make out what he'd said.
