Karna finally opened his eyes in the real world, he found out that he is in a hospital bed, he looked around and found nobody in the room except Cana who was sleeping at the end of the bed
'déjà vu' thought Karna thinking back to the time he was admitted when he got attacked by the wolves and seeing Cana sleeping near the bed when he woke up. He remembered Porlyosika telling that she put Cana to sleep with her magic because she was not sleeping and damaging her health
And if my magic senses are right she was sleeping now because somebody put her to sleep with magic and I can say they did a good job a rough scan of her condition showed me that she is recovering her magic but is not completely full yet, if she had strained herself watching me get well while she was recovering her magic after that battle the result would have been dangerous to her life as a mage
But this also shows that the talisman will be able to heal wounds, injuries, diseases and genetic conditions but the chances of restoring stamina and magic energy is non existent
I can fell my body has recovered from all injuries and if I am right 2 days had passed since that battle with the drakons seeing the amount of magic I had recovered meditating will increase it but if you are recovering after a battle it is better to take time and heal instead of damaging your magic storage
I leaned my head back and began to think, even if the system has not reminded him about the quest yet I am planning on going to meet Layla Heartfilia to heal her after using the eclipse gate without the key of Aquarius

[Million Sakura- an arrow art designed by the creator itself. Based on the Bankai Senbonzakura Kageyoshi. The art consists of the multiplying of the arrows. Even though multiplying the arrows require magic less than forming the number of arrows the usual way it is still substantial amount but still cost effective. Can form the arrows with a particular property of the arrows that can be made by the host. Along with it there are a few extra special moves that can only be made by particular arrows.
Warning – the art can only be gradually learned and it can only be completed up to million with years of practice ]

Then I looked towards Cana and found out that she still had the earrings to my armour chances are it must have gone to recharge mode after that drakon explosion
Looking at my body again I was able to sense the presence of the drakon slayer fragment in my body as well. Even if there are no other drakons in this world, having a slayer type magic automatically puts you in a level above others in this world
Just as I was about to think more suddenly Cana began to move
She sat straight and rubbed her eyes to escape sleep magic she was put in, I can feel her circulating in side her body removing the influence of the foreign magic and whoever put it might not have intended
An just as she removed her grogginess she turned her head and saw that I was awake
Her eyes went wide and she sat frozen
I tried to comfort her thinking that she is in shock of that battle
"Hey Cana i-"

Just as I was about to speak she stood up and slapped my face hard
"you-you bastard" she still had teardrops falling out of her eyes but she started punching me with her fists even though it did not have magic because of her physique due to training it hurt and a few bruises started forming
I could have used magic to protect myself but I felt like I deserved these punches she was giving me the last thing I did in the fight was tell her that I loved her like I was going to die
She stopped punching and cursing after a few minutes and just hugged me and started crying
I hugged her back and tried to calm her down slowly
As she was crying she started saying things like how could you or you bastard as such. I just hugged her tightly and listened everything that she said.
When she stopped crying she just raised her head a bit but did not drop her hands which were around me
She then looked straight at me and asked a question
"tell me the truth did you know you were going to survive doing that "
I wanted to say I did but I felt like I should not lie when she was looking straight at me like this
" I didn't"
The truth was it was entirely a gamble and I was prepared to sacrifice my life then and there exactly like Jason said I had no idea of seeing the next day
She just tightened her grip on me when she heard that then she slowly removed them while looking at me
She then used her hands to cup my face and gave me a kiss
The kiss was light but it lasted some time. I can say that it was meant to be gentle rather than being filled with lust. I hugged her close as the kiss continued and after a few moments we separated while still looking at each other.
Then Cana took out two cards from her pocket and I recognised them , these cards were used to warn one holder whether the other holder is in danger or not but I recognized that Cana had modified hers because it had extra symbols
She placed one on her arm near her wrist while the other on mine. The cards then began to glow brightly and then vanished leaving a symbol of half a heart on each hand
"this was a special card I had created" she began explaining
"this is an enhanced version of the card which will last almost forever, it has the ability to tell both of us the location of the other and their physical condition"
I felt like this was similar to Meredy's magic I hoped she was not crazy enough to put simultaneous death magic on it
"so if you ever die I will find out" she continued and then looked straight in my eyes "don't expect me to live well after you do that"
Even though she didn't mention it , I was able to recognise what she meant
"I promise to be safe" I knew as I said that I had to protect my life well as I will be protecting somebody else's life along with mine
Somebody that I deeply cared
A/N-hope you like it and there will be no harem for Karna and there will be no r18 scenes now since both of them are 11 according to the timeline in 777 so lets not talk about it.
