Chapitre 4: Destruction, Responsibility
"I'm home." Nobita said as he stepped into the house, his Kent Glasses already on as his mom greeted him as she exited the Kitchen
"How was your day?" She asked him with a smile "And how are you feeling?" She continued with worry seeping into her voice
"Today was great! I'd done all my homework and everything I was needed to do." He said with a smile "I'm also not at all sick now, Doraemon's doctor was really good at his job." He said
"Is that so? I'm glad" she said with a small relieved sigh
"Oh! Nobita, you're back!" Doraemon, who came down from upstairs greeted him as he nodded
"Yeah." He said as he went upstairs with Doraemon, then hung his bag on his chair
"I'll be back in a minute." He said as he went downstairs again in Doraemon's approving gaze and went to freshen up a bit
As Nobita returned upstairs after washing his hands and feet, he was greeted with the sight of a Huge pink carpet with water in the middle and Doraemon standing next to it
"This, what is it?" Nobita asked Doraemon in confusion as he smiled at him
"This is a 'Mobile Fishing Gadget', a Gadget that produces a lake or sea filled with fish for someone to go Fishing whenever they want by cutting a section of that area out into a pocket space." he explained
"And you're taking this out because?"
"This-" Doraemon said as he took out a yellow container with the image of a town and mountains mirrored and a red sprayer(?) "-'Come to the Reverse World Oil'. An Oil that creates a portal to a World exactly like ours but without any living beings in it." He explained as Nobita nodded
"Space altering tech, matter conversion tech alongside scanning tech and a inhabited World with suitable conditions for creation of life." Nobita stated as Doraemon looked shocked which turned into excitement and realisation
"Yeah! It's really awesome right?!" He asked excitedly
"It is, but-" he said "-This is classified as Military Grade Tech." He said as Doraemon grinned "Exactly."
"Feel free to tell me whenever you want to." Nobita said with a smile, making Doraemon's smile widen
"Still, what's with the goofy container." He asked as Doraemon shrugged "Personal Preference."
"Heh." Nobita snorted amusedly as Doraemon pressed the Top and a bright orange liquid dropped into the water, making the surface crystal clear, making it reflect more than a mirror could
"Come on." Doraemon said as he jumped into it, Nobita following him
Nobita momentarily felt as if he had touched water while covered in oil as he passed through the mirror and gravity switched, him easily adjusting his body and landing normally
"You didn't tell me on purpose." Nobita said with a fake pout as Doraemon smiled at him
"The reason why we're here?" Nobita asked him "To train your ability and learn its limits." Doraemon said as he almost climbed out of the window, Nobita following him
"First, let's see if you can fly." He said as Nobita nodded
It was dangerous to be honest, what he had done earlier. The slightest mistake in gravity would result in his body being destroyed from the inside out, if, he wasn't the Herrscher of Stars.
Medical knowledge and Physics worked quite well together
Suddenly, a notification from the System went off
Nobita blinked in surprise and called Doraemon
"So, another sign-in?" He asked "Apparently this counts as a Special Location." Nobita explained
[ Congratulations! You Got Ability: Space Storage ]
[ An infinite pocket space that can only be accessed by User, no matter what with the ability to store everything, even living beings in a frozen state of time ]
It was too good, Nobita knew it, Doraemon knew it like he did, this was an extremely useful ability, one that allowed him to store things unlike his System Storage where only things he got from the System could be stored
"Let's go." Nobita said, his skill temporarily ignored as Doraemon also climbed out of the window
His eyes turned gold as he stepped onto the roof, Doraemon already floating using the 'Take-copter', Although this one was different, Black in colour with larger roters
"Military Grade." Doraemon said as Nobita nodded
"It's actually kinda funny, I was considered a defective product." Doraemon suddenly said as Nobita was trying to manipulate his gravity perfectly
"In fact, I was actually supposed to be scrapped if not for Sewashi." He said with a sad sigh "But, then they found something about me after an event." He said "I was highly compatible with all types of Gadgets, with Sewashi's consent, I was tasked to demonstrate multiple gadgets, civillian to Military." He explained
"From defective, I went to Unique." He explained "They managed to eventually make only one replica, that's my sister Dorami." He said
"Thanks to that, I became a tester of all types of gadgets alongside Dorami, both of us belonging to Sewashi." He said "I was eventually something of a top level robot and my authority was also raised, allowing me to carry restricted or forbidden gadgets without any restrictions." He explained
"So?" Nobita suddenly asked "You're still Doraemon, right?"
"The cat who's afraid of mice." He joked "Hey! Mice are scary!" He yelled in fake indignation as they both looked at each other, bursting into laughter
"A Failure turned Herrscher and a Defective turned Unique." Nobita suddenly said "We're the perfect duo, aren't we?"
"Yeah, yeah we are." Doraemon said with a soft smile, he didn't think Nobita'd accept it so quickly but remembered something, Nobita was kind and also was even better than him with gadgets
"Come on, how slow are you?" He tried to tease Nobita who had suddenly dissatisfied "What do you mean?" Nobita asked from behind him, making him jump forward as he looked at Nobita, who was floating in mid-air without any Gadget
"You learnt to fly?!" He exclaimed in shock "I have photographic memory, it's expected of me." Nobita said as Doraemon's eyes twitched
"Well, I'm not really flying-" Nobita explained "-That'd be too time-consuming and dangerous, I'm instead making a small bubble of mass using gravity, allowing me to repel myself from it, making it seems like I'm flying while I'm actually floating."
"Isn't that basically a variant of flight?" He asked as Nobita shrugged, he'd read all the theories but he didn't know what to call stuff like this that he had made.
"Anyways-" Doraemon said as he shook his head to get rid of all the messy thoughts"-Lets go!" He said as he flew towards the city area, Nobita following behind him
"You're sitting!?" Doraemon exclaimed as he turned around to see Nobita sitting with his legs crossed as he floated "Turns out I can do this too." He said with a shrug
"Here is enough." Doraemon said as he began to descend onto the top of a building in Nerima City, Nobita dropping down to the building alongside him
Doraemon landed skillfully as Nobita landed, making dust rise a bit as he stepped down onto the nearly 20 metre tall building
*Cough* *Cough*
"You did that on purpose!" He accused as Nobita acted innocent "I don't know what you're talking about Doraemon."
"Nobita, hit that building with your strongest attack, no holding back." He instructed his while pointing at a building taller than the one they stood on at around 30-35 metres
"You sure?" He asked "Yeah, absolutely."
"Well then-" Nobita said as he pointed his palm at the building, a black ball that absorbed light shaping infront of it, slowly making the building crack and tremble as it crumbled in a instant, breaking near the middle.
Nobita and Doraemon looked on in horror at the broken building that was now the size of a boulder as it compressed into itself
"H-hey Doraemon." Nobita called with his voice and body trembling from shock and fear "I did this?" He asked himself more than Doraemon as he swallowed
"Imagine something Nobita-" Doraemon said with unprecedented seriousness "-What if there were people in that building?" He asked as Nobita felt his legs become a bit weak and felt a bit nauseous
"They'd be dead, crushed into mush, not knowing why or how they died while in immense pain." He said as Nobita plopped onto the ground hunching over and vomited
"That's why Nobita-" he said as he walked to him and rubbed his back "-Please be careful with your power." He told him
"There's a saying that's very famous in almost every universe-" Doraemon said a few minutes later as Nobita finally stopped puking, although his body was still trembling "-With Great Power, Comes Great Responsibility."
"Are you ready for the responsibility, Nobita?" He asked as Nobita gave a weak laugh but somehow stood up, even though his body swayed a bit, he stood firm "Yeah, Of course I am." He said as he suddenly fell backwards but was caught by Doraemon
"That's all I wanted to hear." He said as he put a Take-Copter on both their heads and dragged Nobita along with him to a Mall
