Upon seeing her, Lu Yebai stubbed out his cigarette on his hand and glanced at his mother indifferently.
"No." He replied coldly.
Madam Lu sighed and stood next to her son, "If you have any worries, you can share them with me. Maybe I can't help with the company's affairs, but for other matters, perhaps I can find a solution."
Lu Yebai was silent for a while before he whispered, "I think I have not learned how to love someone yet."
Madam Lu was slightly taken aback and looked up at her son.
In Lu Yebai's deep, unfathomable eyes, there was confusion. He asked, "If I love her and yet she is dying by my hands, should I keep her or let her go?"
"Yebai," Madam Lu's voice quivered, "Is the person you're talking about, Meng Xi'er?"
Lu Yebai paused for a moment before he quietly affirmed, "Yes."
