Chapitre 98: Falling into a trap

Genesis was caught off guard by that sudden rash burst of energy and barely managed to block Charm's move and counter with another blow of his own. 

"I told you not to talk down to me," snapped Charm, while she took two steps back and brought her shield up. 

"Now this is what I'm talking about," remarked Genesis. 

He purposefully ran his fingers through his hair and then primed his sword for the next round of attacks. 

"You should harness your rage more," he said. "It makes for a more pleasurable and entertaining battle than when you're acting pitiful and skulking around the sandbox."

Charm ignored his disparaging remarks and focused on the next swipe of his sword.

His next projected trajectory would tell what she needed to do next to counter his flurry of attacks. 

She and Genesis had been practicing these kinds of moves during combat training.
