Chapitre 312: Chapter 312: Tony and Peter Parker

After Clark returned to Earth, he immediately began to merge with the Infinity Stones.

In order, the second stone Clark chose to merge with was the Space Stone, which he had acquired earliest and understood the deepest. There was already a special connection between them, making the comprehension process easier than with the Power Stone. The inheritance process, accompanied by the BGM of "Action Sky," lasted through the villa for three days and two nights before it finally ended.

The second corner of the six-pointed star on Clark's arm also lit up with a pale blue glow.

At this moment, Clark felt that his strength had made another huge leap, now possessing the peak power of a single universe. He only needed to wait for the next Passing of the Fire task to begin, and his power could reach the limits of a single universe, perhaps even becoming nearly invincible within it.

Before that, however, he would need to find a way to activate the next task.

Activation of the Passing of the Fire tasks seemed random, perhaps with a pattern, but at least he had not yet found it.

Hoping it wouldn't be too late.

Back at the Avengers base, Clark intended to immediately gather the Avengers to go to Nidavellir to upgrade their weapons and equipment. Most importantly, he wanted to upgrade Captain America's shield, which seemed to be a significant blow to him when damaged.

Unexpectedly, Cap's response was, "Clark, the shield repair can wait. Right after you went into seclusion, Nick Fury came by and said he had important matters to discuss with you, hoping you would contact him immediately after coming out."

What could that boiled egg want with him?

Puzzled, Clark already took out his phone and dialed the number. After three rings, the call connected, and Clark immediately asked, "Where are you?"

Caught off guard by the question, the boiled egg responded, "I thought you'd first ask what I wanted."

Clark said, "I think it's better to discuss specifics in person."

"I'm at the S.H.I.E.L.D. headquarters, in my office, if you..." Before he could finish, the call was abruptly ended by Clark, leaving him to mutter in frustration, "Damn it!"

"Watch your language." As a slightly reproachful voice sounded, the boiled egg noticed Clark sitting on his office sofa, drinking juice.

You can appear suddenly now, without even needing a portal?

Seeing the boiled egg's face as dark as an African brother, Clark straightforwardly said, "So, tell me, what's so urgent?"

Reluctantly, the boiled egg explained, "You previously reported false military intelligence, making me think Earth was facing a crisis like the Battle of New York, but it turned out to be all for nothing."

"No! No! No!" Clark categorically denied his mistake, "Trust me, this crisis is absolutely worse than the Battle of New York. It's just that because of my outstanding performance, I resolved the enemy outside of Earth, preventing any impact here. So, in this case, not only do I have nothing to apologize for, but I actually deserve commendation."

The boiled egg shrugged, "Too bad no one really saw the enemy, I doubt many politicians will believe you."

"I don't really care about awards. But, is this why you called me?"

"Of course not." The boiled egg's expression turned serious, then said, "Recently, I found a kid who just gained superpowers. His record shows good character and the potential to become an Avenger."

While speaking, the boiled egg opened the database, showing Clark the file of a young boy named Peter Parker, complete with videos.

Glancing at the resume, Clark's mouth curled into a playful smile, "You're right."

The boiled egg smiled with satisfaction, "You think he has potential too?"

"I meant, he really is just a kid."

Impression from Nick Fury +666!

According to the file, this little Spider-Man was only thirteen years old, still a primary school student. Although he had passed the test of the radioactive spider toxin and transformed from a regular person into Spider-Man, he was still a mentally immature child. The video even showed he couldn't control his powers well.

"So I only said he has potential," said the boiled egg casually, "Besides, wasn't Mindy about his age when she became an Avenger?"

"But by that age, Mindy had killed more people than he even knows."

Unable to refute Clark's comment, the boiled egg could only shrug and say, "Well, I've recommended him to you, handle it as you see fit."

Clark gave a knowing smile and then vanished into thin air before the boiled egg's eyes.

Watching Clark suddenly appear and disappear, the boiled egg enviously remarked, "Such an enviable ability. If only I had that kind of skill."

Spider-Man, as a pre-Marvel Cinematic Universe fan favorite, certainly had his unique charm and undeniable potential.

Considering the movie plot, where the little guy had a father-son-like relationship with Tony, Clark did not rush to meet this comic era's popular hero but recommended him to Tony instead.

After all, no one is perfect, and even someone as clever as Tony could not know everything, at least in genetics research he lagged slightly behind Dr. Hulk.

Actually, it was also because he had been focusing on continuing his research on the Iron Man suit, trying to catch up with Clark, rather than fully committing to it.

When Clark found him, Tony was inspired by his previous research on Thanos' genes and was attempting to improve his Iron Man suit.

After watching the video about little Spider-Man, Tony immediately became interested and agreed to try and contact this interesting youngster.

Handing over the nurturing of Spider-Man to Tony, Clark was ready to continue with his previous plan of assembling the Avengers to go to Nidavellir to craft equipment, only to be approached by another figure.

Baron Mordo from Kamar-Taj!

Seeing the African brother stepping out from a portal, Clark immediately offered him a juice, "What wind brought you here today? Try this, it's an off-world juice, quite tasty."

"Thank you," Mordo said, taking the juice from Clark's hand and adding, "Before coming here, the Ancient One told me you've surpassed her, which is quite unexpected."

With a slight smile, Clark replied casually, "Just luck."

"There's no luck in increasing strength," Mordo stubbornly shook his head, "This excessive modesty typical of your culture can easily be mistaken for boasting."

"You're still so rigid."

"And you're still so slick."

After sharing a laugh and sipping their juices, Clark asked, "Did the Ancient One send you?"

Nodding, Mordo said, "Lately, the battles with other dimensions have become more frequent. The Ancient One asked me to discuss strategies with you."

Clark nodded understandingly and said, "Let's discuss. What's your opinion?"

Mordo, with a wry smile, said, "My task is of course to invite you to Kamar-Taj to discuss with the Ancient One in person."

"Let's not wait then, let's go right now," Clark said, standing up, and with that, they set off for Kamar-Taj.

...

While Clark and Mordo headed off to Kamar-Taj, Tony finally met the fateful little Spider-Man, Peter Parker.

Speaking of Spider-Man, he was also a highly intelligent child prodigy, similar to Hulk in that his superpowers and intelligence had no direct connection, but he still mixed in a top student status to elevate his prestige.

Tony, it seemed, got along very well with these kinds of individuals who, despite their high IQ, chose the mutant path.

Maybe he just liked making friends with those who, despite being highly intelligent, followed a path of mutation?

Anyway, when young Peter Parker came home from school, he found a flashy little mustached man chatting merrily with his Aunt May.

It made him think Aunt May had finally found someone to take over, possibly giving him a new uncle.

Tony's excuse was very much his style; Spider-Man's outstanding school performance had caught the attention of Stark Industries, who wanted to invite him for an internship and also offered a significant scholarship.

The so-called Stark Industries intern selection was just an excuse Tony concocted on the spot.

But you couldn't say he was lying, because on his way here, he turned the excuse into a reality. To avoid making things too abrupt, he even expanded the number of excellent primary students recruited by Stark Industries to a hundred.

Money can be so capricious.

The brief exchange between the father-figure and the young Spider-Man was very fruitful for the latter, as Tony resolved many of the issues that had long troubled him.

Amazed by Tony's vast knowledge, Spider-Man was in awe.

After Tony left, he immediately rummaged through his desk drawer and pulled out a sophisticated-looking safe box.

This device, found under the debris of Pym Labs after the Ultron event, looked very mysterious, and it was unclear what was inside.

The outer casing was made entirely of titanium, and the lock was too intricate. After several attempts, Spider-Man had not been able to open it.

But now, with Tony's guidance, he finally found a way to crack the safe!
