Inside the training hall of the Avengers base in New York, Xinghua was sparring with the King of Beatdown.
After more than twenty rounds of intense exchange, the brave and unyielding King of Beatdown finally fell to the ground, defeated by the notorious female powerhouse in front of him with a kick.
Stepping forward, Xinghua pressed her sword against the King of Beatdown's throat and said coldly, "Your strength is not weak, but your hesitation in every move, as if afraid to hurt me, will never let you overcome your opponent with that mindset."
The King of Beatdown stubbornly shook his head, "This is just a spar, safety first. I'm not like this when facing real masters."
"In fact, you are. Your flaw is being too kind-hearted. Unless it's a matter of life and death, even when facing a heinous criminal, you struggle to make decisive kills. This is somewhat similar to the captain, except he only chooses to be kind at the right moments, unlike you."
While mercilessly exposing the King of Beatdown's excuses, Tony walked in with a wine glass, saying, "If you really want to learn from the captain, I suggest you experience the battlefield. Otherwise, you'll never match up to him."
The King of Beatdown appeared contemplative, but Xinghua suddenly asked, "I've been here for three days now, where on earth is Mr. Clark?"
"He's holed up at home. He calls this training method of staying indoors without seeing anyone... seclusion," Tony smirked. "That guy really knows how to make a fuss. Despite my efforts, my armor upgrades can't keep up with the pace of his physical training. How does that even make sense?"
"Mr. Clark is very strong," Xinghua nodded earnestly. "Even stronger than Thanos."
As Xinghua made such a serious compliment about Clark, Tony was about to retort when a loud boom interrupted him.
Xinghua and the King of Beatdown saw the source of the noise—a rainbow light that blasted from the sky directly through the Avengers base, breaking through ceilings to reach the basement.
The Bifrost!
The light of the Bifrost vanished in an instant, and when everyone approached, they found a dark-skinned woman in black tight clothing, kneeling in the basement. She was wounded, with a blood-stained sword supporting her shaky body.
Clearly, she was a warrior just off the battlefield, transported here by the Bifrost, undoubtedly an Asgardian. However, no one present had seen this formidable female warrior before.
Xinghua, having never seen the Bifrost before and seeing the Avengers base under attack, immediately jumped down the hole to confront the woman, pressing her sword against her neck, "Who are you, and why are you attacking the Avengers base?"
Unfazed by Xinghua's sword at her throat, the woman said, "Nebula? Quick... I need to see Prince Clark!"
Tony, standing by the hole, raised an eyebrow, "Prince?"
Wow, that's some grandeur.
But it's just like him to play big.
Looking at her, "Clark is currently in seclusion, temporarily refusing all disturbances. If you're in trouble, you can tell me."
"Hela is back. She's brought a terrifying army of the undead. Thor and the others are fighting tooth and nail. We need Prince Clark's help!"
Hearing the woman's words, Tony fell silent, and then Hank Pym peeked from another hole, "Don't panic, take your time to explain. Dave, go contact Steve right away and ask if Clark has ended his seclusion."
Relieved by Hank Pym's serious demeanor, the woman began to recount her story.
Her name was Valkyrie, an Asgardian Valkyrie who had settled on Sakaar to become a bounty hunter, living a decent life.
Unfortunately, the good times ended when Sakaar's ruler, the Grandmaster, was killed by Clark, plunging Sakaar into chaos.
She had no intention of fighting for the people of Sakaar and left aboard her spaceship to wander the cosmos again.
Before long, she encountered two women who would change her fate—Nebula and Sif.
Both, for their reasons, were adventuring through the universe and happened to meet Valkyrie, also from Asgard.
When Sif recognized the Valkyrie symbol on her arm, she excitedly approached her, only to be met with cold rejection.
Eventually, somehow, Sif convinced her to return to Asgard with her, leaving Nebula to continue her quest for the Soul Stone.
Upon returning to Asgard and meeting Thor, they barely had time to catch up before Hela attacked with her undead army.
Then came a bloody battle. Despite Asgard's defense led by two Gods of Thunder, they were no match for Hela and her army, being pushed back.
At a crucial moment, Heimdall used dark magic to send the fighting Valkyrie to Earth for Clark's help!
After Valkyrie finished her story, the King of Beatdown, who had gone to contact Captain America, returned, saying seriously, "Clark is still in seclusion. Even the captain says he can feel the unusual energy fluctuations from his mansion. He's at a critical point in his seclusion and cannot be disturbed."
Valkyrie stood up, anxiously asking, "Then what do we do?"
"Don't worry," Tony put down his glass, "the rest of us Avengers can head there first to hold the line. That should buy Clark enough time."
"Exactly!" Hulk emerged, dressed for battle and armed, "With Clark away, we'll stand in. Earth's Avengers won't let you down."
Relieved by Tony and Hulk's readiness, Valkyrie frowned, "But how do we get there?"
Valkyrie's question stumped everyone.
The easiest way from Earth to Asgard was the Bifrost, but with Asgard's Bifrost out of order, hence Heimdall's use of dark magic, how could they reach Asgard in time without it?
As everyone pondered between notifying Clark about Asgard and not disturbing his seclusion, a woman's voice suddenly came from behind, "If it's just about sending people to the battlefield, maybe I can help."
Turning around, they saw a woman in a beige cloak, smiling behind them.
...
Asgard, at the junction of the Bifrost and the royal palace.
The Bifrost had fallen, and Asgard's forces, led by Thor and the Horse-Faced Thunder God, were making their last stand outside the palace.
Both were badly injured, barely holding against Hela and her pet wolf, Fenrir.
Victory for Hela seemed imminent until she paused her pursuit of Thor, surprised, and looked up to see a large portal opening in the sky. A three-meter-tall green figure leaped out, wielding two short blades, and struck down at her.
The newcomer was the Hulk, now fused with Dr. Banner.
Hela quickly parried with her sword, but Hulk, with his immense strength and surprise attack, pushed her back.
The clash sounded like thunder, vibrating everyone's eardrums.
Hulk's weapons remained undamaged even after clashing with Hela's Nightsky Sword.
Hulk pressed his
advantage, attacking Hela with a flurry of powerful and swift strikes, forcing her to retreat.
On the twentieth strike, Hela found an opening, swept her sword, and managed to force a standoff, with both sides regaining their footing.
Facing the formidable Hulk, Hela showed a hint of interest, "Big guy, not bad. Who are you?"
Hulk stood on the Bifrost, adopting a stance that, despite seeming delicate, was actually a perfect representation of Wing Chun's stability.
His weapons, originally part of Thanos's large blade, appeared small in his hands but were effectively used by Hulk.
Splitting his blades to either side, Hulk solemnly declared, "Wing Chun, Hulk!"
