Chapitre 94: Family Conflict

Lucien was on his way home, the sky already dark as he yawned. The village was illuminated with oil lamps, making it more lively.

He considered asking Lithira to create some kind of electricity to light the lamps automatically and also for water. However, it might be difficult since they would need a lot of crystal mana.

As he neared the Great Wall of Euclair, Lucien noticed someone near the gate. The person's clothes were covered in blood, emitting a dangerous aura. He couldn't see the man's face since he was in the shade.

Preparing his rune magic for protection, he called out, "Who are you? What do you want?"

The shadowed figure moved towards him, causing Lucien to step back. The man turned to run, and he was ready with a fireball when he suddenly saw the man's face.

It was his father.

Lucien sighed in relief, and the fireball dissipated. "What the hell, Dad! Don't startle me like that!"
