Peter, who was described by Matt as "enjoying playing games with people", was looking through a biology resource book.
The night demon brainstormed so many things. Not realizing that he was just being "lazy", he was lost in thought as he gazed at the diagrams of the embryonic creatures on the pages of the book.
"Hey, Peter."
Gwen suddenly appeared behind him and patted him on the back.
Both of them were in the classroom at the moment and the bell had not yet rung.
"You're not late today?"
Peter asked her unexpectedly.
"Probably because there weren't that many surprises today, life is different every day, sometimes it's faster, sometimes it's slower, it's an unpredictable fate."
Gwen shrugged her shoulders, "If I'm late for every class I'm sure I'll be criticized by Ms. Fish, or even she'll approach me for a chat, you know, no one wants to listen to her rambling non-stop words."
"Hmm."
Peter expressed his understanding that Spider-Woman couldn't meet someone in need every day.
It seemed Gwen was adapting quickly to her superhero status.
"That .... Liz invited you, to the party she's hosting at her house?"
Gwen asked him curiously.
"Invited, but I declined."
"Why?"
"I'm not interested in that sort of thing."
"Actually, I'm not really interested in parties and stuff either."
Gwen exhaled and said, "The last party I went to that I still remember was the spring prom.
"Wearing a corsage that had been sitting in the refrigerator all afternoon, a white tuxedo with a wide belt, and black pants and shoes, posing on stage, waiting for the people down there to take as many pictures as they wanted with their Kodak and Polaroid cameras."
She voiced her strange feelings, "It's like being forced to participate in some kind of TV casting, being looked at by people."
"And..."
Gwen hesitated, "I always thought something would go wrong.
Hearing Gwen say that, Peter put down the book he was holding and looked over at Gwen, "Why do you say that? Gwen."
"I don't know, it's just this weird feeling."
Gwen didn't know how to describe this feeling she had, after thinking about it she said.
"It seems like every school party something bad happens, last time it was at the Museum of Natural History in New York, almost getting hit by the subway, and then the last time it was a disaster caused by Frank on the football field."
She propped one hand on her chin, "And then the last time, I think it was the game against Stadler, do you remember?"
"Don't remember."
Peter shook his head.
Many of the memories of his predecessor were not very clear to him, and some of what he remembered was even starting to blur, Gwen named the incident she remembered so well.
"I remember the guy's name was Bruce Trevor, and he was removed from the team the week before the last crucial game against Stadler because someone found a kilogram of marijuana in the back of Trevor's Civics textbook."
"Then we lost the game, 114-56 as I recall, and the chance to make the tournament was gone."
Gwen paused and continued, "Well, that's not the point, no one remembers any of that stuff, what everyone remembers is the riot that interrupted the fourth quarter."
"Bruce Trevor justifiably claimed that he had been planted, and then a fight broke out, and four people went to the hospital with injuries, one of whom was a coach, and a first aid kit was smashed over his head. "
Gwen's eyes light up when she talks about gossip.
"Ahem, now I have that feeling."
Gwen was going to say worse death-related premonitions, but it finally exited into "a premonition of someone coming over with a rotten apple."
Well, I can't keep thinking about death and stuff.
Gwen thought that the last time she had said in front of Peter, "Death has always favored Gwen Stacy. Stacy's favor," in front of Peter.
"Right."
Gwen suddenly remembered something else and whispered to Peter, "Our biology teacher changed."
"Changed?"
"Uh-huh, it's not Ms. Susan anymore, I heard she's going on maternity leave."
Gwen wanted to say something else, but the class bell rang and she had no choice but to stop and sit back down in her seat.
"Ka! Ka! Ka!"
The sound of high heels hitting the floor rang out from outside the hallway.
In the next second, a figure pushed open the door and entered.
The woman with a tall figure instantly attracted the attention of all the students.
The other party was wearing burgundy velvet shorts, and on top was a white silk blouse that perfectly complimented her figure.
The new teacher entered the classroom and looked around at the students below.
The likes of 'King Kong' and Thompson, on the other hand, whistled excitedly.
The beautiful teacher was not affected by the uproarious students below, instead she smiled slightly and wrote her name on the board Helen . Nolan.
"It looks like you guys welcome me very much, which makes me breathe a long sigh of relief."
Teacher Helen introduced herself with a smile on her lips.
"Ms. Helen, may I ask if you have a boyfriend?"
"King Kong" asked wistfully from below.
"Yes, I do."
Teacher Helen admitted it readily, she looked at "King Kong" and said: "I can introduce you to him. "
"He's a well-bred, "mama's boy" with a rich and powerful family who drives his family's Volkswagen or Dodge Warhorse, wears his high school sorority's windproof jackets in the fall and brightly-striped sleeveless tight backs and hearts in the summer, and likes to brag about funny things that happen to him when he's not in the classroom."
"He always starts out condescendingly interested in pretty girls and ends up always panting and attentive after her, that's my boyfriend, and a lot of people say he's not a nice guy."
When Mr. Helen said that, "King Kong" was immediately speechless.
He likes to drive around in his family's Dodge automobile.
Likes to wear windproof jackets in the fall, panting after taking an interest in pretty girls.
How do you feel that this teacher is scolding herself in a roundabout way?
Peter, who was sitting in the back row of the classroom, frowned at this new female teacher.
The alien embryo in his chest at this time produced changes.
The heart beat faster, and the feeling of being hot invaded his body.
The alien embryo had stopped for a lot of time before, but now it started again.
Is it a warning?
Or was it a change caused by the discovery of prey or a predator?
Lifting his head, he cast his eyes over the woman at the podium.
A similar aura to Frank's emanated from the other.
But clearly stronger than that aura.
And it gave his body a warning message that he was immediately wary of the other's identity.
"Today we're going to be talking about the relationship between fungi, spores and other parasites and their hosts, which I'm sure will be of interest to most of the class."
said she opened her book and cast her eyes down.
