Chapitre 7: Chapter 7

The next morning they were going to head to the Earthrealm base before heading to Omashu. Katara and Aang received gifts from Pakku, and now Sokka stood in front of him.

"Sokka," Pakku began. "Your training was without a doubt one of my most unusual. But, nevertheless, you turned out to be one of my best students, perhaps even better than your sister. - He sighed.

- The only thing that upsets me is that you are not a water mage. If you were, you would make one of the greatest magicians this world has ever seen.

Sokka bowed his head respectfully.

- Thank you, Sifu Pakku. - He climbed onto Appa's back and made himself comfortable, receiving a displeased look from Katara.

"Chief Arnuk sent a message to the village his father once knew," Pakku told them. "They will send someone to meet you once you reach Omashu and begin your earthbending training with King Bumi." In the meantime, head to General Fong's base so they can give you an escort.

"Got it," Sokka replied. As Appa flew away, he heard Katara muttering something. - Is everything okay, Katara? - he asked.

"It's okay, Sokka, just okay," she replied in an annoyed tone. He decided not to put pressure on her. If she wanted to tell him, she would have.

(Location: Royal Flame)

Naruto watched as Azula gave a speech to her men. The speech was short and to the point, conveying to them what she wanted them to hear. She was good at this.

"My brother and my uncle disgraced the Fire Lord and disgraced us all," she said, walking among them. -You may have mixed feelings about the attack on members of the royal family. I understand. But I assure you, if you hesitate, I will not hesitate to destroy you. - Nobody said a word. They didn't dare. - Free.

As her men left, the captain walked over and made a quick bow.

"Princess, I'm afraid the tides will not allow us to bring the ship into port before nightfall," he told her.

She looked out to sea from the bow of the ship.

"Forgive me, captain, but I don't know much about tides," she said, without even looking at him. - Could you explain something to me?

- Of course, Your Highness.

- Do the tides control this ship?

- I'm afraid I don't understand. Even as he uttered these words, he felt horror rising in his stomach.

- You said that the tides would not allow us to bring the ship. Do the tides steer this ship? - she asked again. This time the question came with a sharp warning.

- No, princess.

"And if I order you to be thrown overboard, will the tides think twice about smashing you against the rocky shore?"

Horror turned into panic. As much as he would like to think, the princess was the daughter of the Fire Lord.

- No, princess.

"Then maybe you should worry less about the tides, which have already decided to kill you, and worry about me, who is still thinking about it?" - she told him.

He bowed.

- I'll get us inside.

Naruto stopped him before he went to the command deck.

"I know she told you to pull the ship in, but I want you to use your best judgment," he said, keeping his voice calm.

The captain felt a little calmer, but did not lose his vigilance towards the princess.

- Thank you, Lord Naruto. But for now, my best decision is to obey Princess Azula," he replied. He didn't want to incur her wrath.

He chuckled.

- I wouldn't worry. Azula won't throw you overboard over this. - The captain didn't believe him. - I'll go talk to her. - The captain nodded in gratitude and went inside. Naruto walked up to Azula.

"How many times have I asked you to stop threatening the captain of the ship, Azula?" - he asked her.

"I lost count," she answered, half-jokingly and half-seriously. For this she received a blow to the head. - Oh! What is this for?! - she asked, rubbing her head.

- This is for sarcasm when I was serious.

- But you do this to me all the time!

"I'm your bodyguard, I'm allowed," he said frivolously. Then he became serious. - But back to business, you told me that you would stop threatening captains after that incident with the captain's son and the bedroom. - She blushed slightly from his gaze.

"It happened once, and you still haven't forgotten about it," she accused. After all, nothing like that happened.

"There are good reasons for that, Azula." If you want to rule the Fire Nation, you can't threaten or punish everyone you don't like. In the end, it will lead to your death, you know? - She nodded. "Okay, I'll let you go this time, but keep it up and I'll administer the punishments," he said quietly.

Azula became nervous.

- What are the punishments? "Her voice didn't waver, or at least she didn't think so. For those who knew Naruto in the Fire Nation, if he used the word "punishment" what he really meant was that he was going to prank you, and prank you hard. No one is immune from Naruto's "punishments", not even Fire Lord Ozai (considering he was the first victim of Naruto's "punishments").

"I'll just let your imagination try to figure it out," he said with an evil grin. He walked away, leaving Azula with a sacred expression on her face.

Meanwhile, in his head, the Kyuubi was laughing.

-You are really evil, Gaki.

"I'm threatening her for a reason, little fox." If she continues like this, she will eventually become just like her father, the Royal Flame Asshole," he told the Biju.

- I know that, and you're doing a good job guiding her. But even you have to admit that some of your methods are hilarious.

- Of course, I admit it. That's why I use them. It's nice to see the confident princess of the Fire Nation get excited and angry," he stated with a quiet laugh.

(Location: Appa)

Sokka watched the flight. He was the first to see his destination.

- Here she is! - he shouted, pointing to a large fortress. Now knowing where to fly, Aang directed Appa to the fortress and landed on the terrace.

Someone immediately greeted them.

- Welcome, Avatar Aang! "I'm General Fong," the general introduced himself, and he and the people standing behind him bowed their heads. - And greetings to all of you, great heroes, Appa, Momo and the mighty Katara!

"Mighty Katara, I like it," Katara stated, crossing her arms. She felt more powerful since she actually knew how to bend water. This title gave her a feeling of satisfaction and self-satisfaction.

Fong looked around.

- Forgive me, but wasn't there another person with you? He asked, causing Aang and Katara to look around for Sokka.

He was still sitting in the saddle, talking with Akela.

"You really need to stop falling asleep every time you sit on Appa," he told the puppy, who just yawned in response. When he and Akela landed on the ground, he saw the general and the others. - Sorry for that. When Akela is passed out, it is difficult to wake him up.

General Fong shook his head.

"It's not a problem, Sokka," he said shortly. He turned and ordered them to follow him. When they entered the main tower, Sokka wasn't sure, but he swore Fong said that last line with disgust. On the other hand, how could he know who the Tribesman was now? He didn't tell anyone, of course.
