Chapitre 31: It's Time to End

Avery Miller hastily objected, knowing full well the money was from her personal savings. "Eleanor Thompson, this won't do, it just won't. How can I possibly use your money? I'll accept the card, but please, keep your money," she insisted.

Eleanor Thompson, attempting to open her purse, found her hand gently pushed back by Avery, who said, "Mrs., the money on that card should suffice for you. I'm not worried about that. However, having just one card can sometimes be inconvenient. Let me give you some cash; it'll make shopping at the supermarket much easier for you."

Eleanor Thompson's thoughtfulness was overwhelming, making Avery feel embarrassingly grateful. "Really, Eleanor Thompson, there's no need," she tiredly protested. "I'll withdraw some money when I return, and I still have some cash in my dorm. You really don't have to do this for me."
